Heal- become sound or healthy again

"I believe that our essence is whole, well and complete. All of my work, including healing, is just an avenue to allow that state of being to emerge." - Cynthia Sofia

I practice Somatic/holistic/trauma-informed/mindfulness-based healing that incorporates a variety of modalities depending on individual needs. Appointments may include any combination of intuitive energy healing, somatic experiencing therapy, breath work, medical intuition, equine-assisted healing, movement healing, nature-based therapy, mediumship, Jin Shin Jyutsu and intuitive energy healing. My intent is to provide the environment for the potential of healing. These sessions effect primarily the emotional/spiritual levels and help heal the nervous system which will often have a trickle down effect on the physical and mental levels.

Energy work is done fully clothed. There is a light touch on energy centers of the body or at a distance. The pure intention is to connect with the healing power of Spirit and release tensions and blockages to allow a deep state of relaxation where your natural soundness and health can rise up again.

Jin Shin Jyutsu

JIN SHIN JYUTSU literally translated means:

SHIN - Creator
JIN - Man of Knowing and Compassion
(Art of the Creator through man of knowing and compassion)

JIN SHIN JYUTSU is the Art of releasing tensions which are the causes for various symptoms in the body. Our bodies contain several energy pathways that feed life into all of our cells. When one or more of these paths become blocked, this damming effect may lead to discomfort or even pain. This blockage or stagnation will not only disrupt the local area but will continue and eventually disharmonize the complete path or paths of the energy flow.

Through Jin Shin Jyutsu our awareness is awakened to the simple fact that we are endowed with the ability to harmonize and balance ourselves (in rhythm with the universe) physically, mentally and spiritually.

Jin Shin Jyutsu is an art as opposed to a technique because a technique is a mechanical application, whereas an art is a skillful creation. This beautiful, simple Art is our inheritance.

According to ancient written records, which remain in the Archives of the Imperial Palace in Japan, Jin Shin Jyutsu was widely known before the birth of Gautama (Buddha, India), before the birth of Moses (recorded in the Bible), and before the Kojiki (Record of Ancient Things - Japan, A.D. 712). Jin Shin Jyutsu is an innate part of man's wisdom - simplifying the complexities of existence - and is truly an Art of Living.

Jin Shin Jyutsu was rediscovered by Master Jiro Murai early in the 20th century. His student, Mary Burmeister, brought the Art from Japan to America in the 1950's.

Cindy provided a safe, welcoming, and grounding space for me to address the trauma of a childhood loss, the death of my father at an early age. Using mindfulness and comforting touch, I felt able to release years of pent up grief and emotion and empowered to continue forward on my journey of healing. Cindy offered a unique approach that for me complements psychotherapy work and gave me a holistic approach addressing mind, body and soul. She connected me to my dad’s calming strength and love that existed when he was alive and continues to live on around me and in me. It was a healing, life-altering experience of love and connection to myself, my father, and the universe. Thank you, Cindy, for sharing your healing and channeling gifts with me.

Equus Coaching & Natural Lifemanship

"Equus Coaching® is a dynamic approach to personal transformation that combines world-class life coaching with the timeless wisdom of the natural world. In partnership with horses, Equus Coaches guide others on a profound and personal journey to discover their own true nature and gain a vivid awareness of the patterns that shape our lives and world"

                                                                                                  - Koelle institute

Equus coaching is practiced on the ground with a horse.
No riding is involved and no experience is necessary.

Equus coaching is a great foundation or compliment for the Inner Circle small groupsessions. Because of the true nature of horses - sensitive and social, we can more quickly learn about our own style of relating to life by our interactions with them. I've often said that a horse can teach me in a day what it would take me a year to learn talking to a human. It is very impactful for understanding yourself as a leader, finding inner clarity and strength, and discerning truth.

"Equus Coaching is so beautiful that it goes beyond words. It is a gentle, tender, loving and respectful interaction that enters into the deepest parts of you. It allows the truth of who you are to rise up. The truth of what you want and the truth of how you relate makes itself seen in the Light. When you finally know the truth of You, which is always beyond beautiful, there is a serenity, a peace.  A sense of steadiness, alignment and congruency that allows a new place of wholeness, peace and integration. A place from which to move forward with inspired action." - Cynthia Sofia
