At Sofia+Friends, we specialize in connection and nature-based trauma healing.
As a trauma integration coach, energy healer, and spiritual guide, I believe that true healing comes from within and stems from our connection to nature and each other. I offer one-on-one sessions, group workshops, and retreats to help clients heal from past traumas and connect to their inner selves in a safe and supportive environment.
I help women break transgenerational patterns and step into their power.

For over 25 years, I have been on The Heroine's Journey. I am prepared to meet and walk with you on your journey to help heal trauma and reconnect to your divine energy. I utilize the wisdom and power of nature, equine-assisted coaching, movement and energy therapy, and medical intuition to release trauma in a joyful, playful, and heartfelt environment.
I also love lavishing my client's senses on retreats in beautiful places, workshops, and small groups.
I use my God-given gifts of intuition and the ability to listen to and see things from a higher spiritual plane to help people like you understand what their souls are calling to create.

The best part for me was the sacred space that Sofia provided for me to release some blocks in order for some things to come to the surface. I felt safe and able to let some things go. Sofia was a calm, kind and effective guide to keep me focused when I was being resistant to releasing the emotions. She definitely followed her intuition and felt her way into the steps to guide me into some great "aha" moments.
It's time to stop all of the running around, let go of the ego, and sit down to do the work we are called to do, here and now -- bringing heaven to earth.
This work is done in stillness and quiet. It is getting vertically connected so that we can receive this Love and let it come through us down to earth.
You know that we need it. You can feel the need, and you can feel that something is changing. The old ways don't work anymore. We are entering into a new era. We need to feel our way out of the dark and into the Light.

I felt very comfortable and safe with Sofia. She was really present with me and listened and trusted her instincts rather than feeling like she had to “stick with the script”.
Sofia showed me how to set boundaries with the horse, making me aware of how my approach was a more passive one ( I could see this particularly with the men in my life), and offering me an opportunity to stand in my power with this horse and see he respected my boundaries. He didn't have a problem with my power. I've been able to transfer this experience time and again since our session. It's offered me a whole new way of setting boundaries powerfully, not aggressively nor passively.
I was wondering what I could get out of Equus Coaching- being that I have horses and I work with them daily. I had no idea what a HUGE positive impact it would have.
Being in the ring with the horse and having Sofia point out the ways the horse was interacting with me and what that meant. It validated some deeper truths in myself that arose with the questions Cynthia asked me. I found myself feeling more empowered and partnered with an animal that initially scared me.
My horse Sarge came over to me so unexpectedly and that I didn't even hear him coming close ! Then Cynthia pulled out pieces of that with many significant life parallel points to show me. Didn't feel like most of it was " an exercise" Letting it just happen and unfold was amazing 5 stars ! Many thanks to you Sofia for sharing this experience with me and her incredible insights given with love and a fresh voice.
Sofia has a wonderful unassuming and genuine quality about her that creates a comfortable space. She is extremely patient and is good at redirecting to continue the focus and recognizing dirty pain. It was a valuable and meaningful experience for me at a time that I needed some gentle and direct care.
I realized I can be open to change and it can be unstructured. I don’t have to control it. I can enjoy my new life without fear. I can just go with the flow, be myself, be playful and open to new adventures without letting the past control my future.
Sofia really helped me understand the horse’s feedback. She was great. She even worked with a distraction during the session to make that a part of my learning experience. She stopped me at great moments to point out and have me articulate the lesson. For example, she noticed and had me speak about the moment when I took the space and time I needed, as a highly sensitive person, that the horse moved toward me to connect, which was what I wanted. Great coaching!
